It is my 2nd birthday! My friends at Procter threw me a party! They are so cool! I got lots of cards thanking me for my service and all the extra kisses I give. I cannot wait to share my treats with my friend, Rolo. My handler, Mrs. Hawley and "Aunt", Miss Barnes gave me some wonderful presents too. I ate my birthday cookie all at once.Thank you!

I am loving all the attention I am getting from my friends at Procter! I over heard how hard they have been working in their classrooms to come see me for the last fifteen minutes of the day. That makes me feel sooo special. It is my pleasure to support them and get some love too!
I am also very busy playing with my pink KONG. Students, Miss Paula, and Nurse Courtney love to play with me. I love sliding across the floor to "go get" and "bring it" to them throughout the day. I love their smiles.

I got my exercise in this morning during Procter's ten-minute morning run! I also visited Miss Briles' class during math. I am learning the value of numbers. In Miss Barnes class today, I read with several students. I also got in a nap before the alarm sounded for a school-wide fire drill. Little feet move fast away from a siren. I don't blame them.
This is me and my handler earlier this week reminding me of my stay command. I was a little excited at our first PRIDE assembly to see all the students in the gym at one time. I played the part of "Super Milli" with my special cape.

I am hard at work at Procter with some wonderful "Lions." I've given lots of kisses out. I have learned how to create a simple number sentence and tell a number story, build a tall tower with spaghetti and marshmallows , stack cups with a string, and how to be safe, respectful, and responsible at school. I have also noticed that doors and backpacks will jump out and get you if you aren't paying attention. Move out of the way quickly! My favorite thing about Procter so far is definitely the people. I heard a Kindergarten say today she is smarter than she was on Wednesday! I am worn out from three days of learning.

Today I visited Miss Briles' and Ms. Doss' classrooms. I enjoyed listening to stories and learning about landforms. I had a couple of students come read to me in Mrs. Hawley's office (my handler and mom). I learned puppy facts. Reminds me of the days when I was just a pup. I napped a couple of times in between classroom visits. Several students stopped by to say hello and massage my head and ears. One of my new friends bumped her head, and I helped not be so afraid. An afternoon pop-up thunderstorm kept me inside for recess, so I took a nap.

Met over 300 students today at Three Trails. I was overwhelmed by all their pats and gentle massages. A dog can get use to this treatment! I believe we will become the best of friends. When I got home tonight, I beat Rolo, my sister who is a lab pup like me, every time getting a blue ring our mom threw to us to "go get". I retrieved it and "dropped it" at her feet like a pro. I am settling into my new family and I love the kids at school. I cannot wait for more adventures tomorrow.

Met Mrs. Hawley, my handler today. I also met Miss Barnes, our SPED teacher. They both seem pretty cool. I am training them how I like to get into a car and when I will use the restroom on command. I cannot wait to meet the kids they keep telling me about. I love to give high fives and kisses. We will see what tomorrow brings. I heard that I get to go to a Super-Walmart. There were some yummy smells tonight at Pizza Hut. Mrs. Hawley kept telling me to "leave it" so I didn't get to sample any. By the way my name is Milli. Cannot wait to meet my two-legged friends.
